Long long ago, nobody knows how long ago, lived a sad princess.
The reason that nobody knows how long ago, is because this story is about a land where they didn't follow the standard Georgian Calendar. :Rajesh J Advani @ 5:17 AM
Well, coming back to the sad princess...One day she sat on her laz boy in the tallest tower of her castle and reflected on her life or the lack of it. :Rads @ 12:33 PM
Thoughts floated by warmly on that nice breezy afternoon - she was soon remembering her childhood, her precious dog Woof, and her small, red tricycle. It all seemed so long ago (noone knows how long ago), she wistfully thought.p.s. ('sat on her laz boy' sets up tender romantic expectations :-)) :Kishlay Baranwal @ 3:05 PM
woof had died a while ago (no one knows how long ago) and she was back to being lonely again. She thought about Trilia the dragon and what a comfort she was.(u need to tap any bystander an get the laz boy part of it :p) :Rads @ 9:51 AM
Oh! Trilia. Her fancy blue eyes and her long swishing tail - her tail was much longer than the rest of her body, which itself was rather small, quite unlike other dragons of her generation. Trilia was the last of her kind, a Liliputeas Dragonae - a 400-million years old dragon species which never grew more than 14 inches in length. The princess remembered fondly how Woof and Trilia would playfully fight all over the lawn and Trilia would come back to her crying after being beaten each time. :Kishlay Baranwal @ 11:37 AM
She wished she could see Trilia again but it was not to be. Trilia had flown to the far away land for something called a 'movie shoot'. She had a romantic role opposite a donkey. For the love of life, the sad princess could not understand why Trilia had gone away all for a donkey. But she as she loved Trilia with all her dear heart she had to let her go. :Rads @ 8:41 PM
The real reason for Trillia going away, of course, was the guilt. Yes, the princess shouldn't have had a room full of gun-powder and fireworks, and certainly shouldn't have kept it unlocked with a dragon in the house, but Trillia always considered it her own fault. She'd only meant to scare Woof.
She had. Woof had been scared to death. (What's with removing all the comments and moving them up here???) :Rajesh J Advani @ 3:12 PM
(I think its better this way, at least we can edit this. and now since we are all at leats in the same time zone +- 3hrs, there should be some progress :-))
The princess tried to steer her mind away from morbid thoughts and think of the upcoming fete. It was the single most socially eventful gathering in the county :-) [Rads]
After all, what better way to meet people than your average local blood donation drive? [ ;) RJA]
After much waiting, the day finally arrived. The princess dressed in her best dressing gown and made a most impressive entry into the gathering. The people haggling over the blood samples froze, the young boys of the local schools who had volunteered to conduct the camp lost concentration, husbands blushed, wives fumed, needles jammed and bottles smashed. The princess smiled. She was indeed looking lovely. Some four or five boys who were the first to recover lined themselves in front of the princess to service her. [KPB]
(Bloody hell, finally got rid of that space in the begining..) (service her ?? :p)Well, service her would probably not describe the scene well enough .. They all stood in a line with their most fancy equipments (i meant the syringes silly !:p) and the most sheepish grins on their faces. The princess sighed and was mentally calculating the good looking indices of the men in front of her. She knew she had the formula at the tip of her tongue.. hmm now what was it ? ok, ((height * handsome factor * clothes) - facial hair ratio)/vocabulary
Sighhhh, this was indeed turning out to be a nice day [Rads]
(Was she giving blood or attending a swayamvar?)
She stepped back and smiled at all of them. "Good job," she said, and turned to leave.
The boys seemed shocked. They'd been vying with each other to be the ones to draw the princess's blood. One of them recovered enough to call out, "Uh... Princess?"
The Princess turned back slowly like a witch in a horror movie, her feet never moving.
"Umm... aren't you going to... umm... donate blood?"
(What space in the beginning? And if you like the pink so much just make it part of the template. It's much easier than dealing with it here...) [RJA]
This is soo dead !
